We have been here few time and it is a favourite with us. We love the fritto misto, fried fish of calamari, shrimps etc that is so light and crispy. dessert are delicious and the service elegant and very kind. They alway advice for the fresh fish option the have on the day. the price is also very good, and location very convenient just at the city centre close to shops and public transport.

Little restaurant in the pedestrian area of Ancona offering very good local food. The steak salsa peperoni is fantastic !

We happened on this very central little restaurant by chance. It looked promising and nearly all the tables were booked which is generally a good sign. Good local dishes freshly prepared - including a tasty bean soup with spelt, shallots with balsamic vinegar, a chard and potato dish and sea bass. The Verdicchio di Jesi was also excellent. About 60 euro for 2.

I don't know if it was because we don't know more than just very basic italian or not, but the service was so bad we left even before we got to see the menu. First of all, we had to wait for a couple of minutes outside before we got seated. The waiter told us to wait and then just started doing basically everything but helping us to our table. As soon as we got seated there was more waiting. The couple that got there just after us, and who also spoke italian, got their table quickly and got menus, bread, water and so on before us. We were basically invisible. Seemed pretty nice, but I wouldn't really know since we got tired of waiting and left for another restaurant.
