  • Stepping into the restaurant, one feels welcomed by the cosy and rustic atmosphere. Even on a weekday evening, all tables were fully occupied. Guests can select from either the dégustation menu(s) or daily specials, or go à la carte. Hugo boasts an impressive wine bar, and the wait staff are well-versed with the wines. As expected, prices are on the higher end of the scale - give it a try if you're in the neighborhood and looking to wine and dine Italian-style.

  • I stumbled upon this restaurant during my recent visit here. It has a pleasant casual mediterranean atmosphere and more importantly a in-house wine shop. Staff was polite and welcoming. Good and attentive service too. food was decent though.

  • Wondered here after a cancelled business dinner. It is the pleasant but a bit quiet, seems to be a place for locals. The food is decent if not great. My 48hr cooked lamb shank should have the meat falling off the bone. A microwave may have been involved. The chef should come out and and admit his sins but they get an extra point for excellent service

  • We stumbled across this restaurant whilst strolling at the back of our hotel. Without a reservation we were greeted warmly by a member of staff and shown to a table immediately. The restaurant was quite full and the ambience was palpable. We were served olives and bread for starters but also received a small portion of Jerusalem artichoke soup which we drank ( from a shot sized container) . It was an amazing aperitif !!....... Our main meals were beef and pasta and a lamb shank - both five star quality, presentation and taste. Cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough - it oozes quality and the staff have such a commanding presence , you know you are recevimg the most excellent of service.
