I visited this restaurant on Mon night, I knew from the web site the menu was limited on a Sun/Mon because of fish markets being closed. I really appreciated the honesty of this & found there was enough choice for me. The service was good, the young lady that served me, couldn't have been more helpful. However, I ordered a glass of Pino Grigio, as I do in whatever city I am in. When I got the bill, I felt completely violated, I was charged £9.25!!!! This is the most I have ever been charged for "A glass of wine!" How this small restaurant in Aberdeen feels they can charge more than a 4* hotel in central London is beyond me!!

This is hands down our favourite restaurant in Aberdeen. The quality of food is superb and there are always amazing specials. The style of service may take some people by surprise, dishes are brought to the table as they are ready but it is brilliant and perfect for sharing and engaging conversation. It makes for a super relaxed environment ideal for trying new dishes and experiences. If you want a standard, boring three course meal be prepared to open your mind and try something new. The quality speaks for itself.

Took my girlfriend out for a birthday treat. When I booked I spoke with them and we got a table for the entire evening father than having to leave to free up the table. In the restaurant the staff were very pleasant and professional and gave us plenty of advice on the menu. Ribs were great, sushi was lovely and pickled extras were a real treat. Highly recommend this experience.

Had dinner in this restaurant last Saturday. The restaurant was pleasant and the food nice but far from excellent. When it came to paying the bill I noticed that there were 2 items for £16 one was for different skewers which I had ordered. I asked the staff what the other item at £16 was for and was told it was for the tempura prawns which were on the menu for £12. I asked why the change of price and was told it was because the chef had given us 4 prawns instead of 3! These were not giant juice prawns. I said they couldn't advertise one price and then charge another without discussing it with the customer where upon the bill was changed. There was no apology and I was left feeling that this was something they do regularly - presuming that their customers would pay up without looking at the bill! I eat out 2 to 3 times a week and £4 is not a lot but it was the principle and the arrogant attitude I did not like.
