My husband and I had lunch here the other day and it was fabulous. The menue is small but very inviting, it is seasonal and changes monthly according to our waiter. We had the whole hog breakfast which consisted of hand made black pudding and sausages and numerous other accompaniments. We also ordered the mushrooms and eggs on ciabatta. Great value for money and very attentive service.

My son gave me a voucher for Mrs Huck's for Mothers Day. Husband & me used it for a lunch date. Order was taken promptly - a Denver omelette for me and a lamb burger and shoe string fries for my partner. The omelette filling was so tasty - bacon, onion and peppers accompanied by a green salad which was nicely dressed. The best omelette I have ever eaten. Husband enjoyed his lamb burger although he found the serving a little small. Service was very friendly without being overbearing. Mrs Huck's is in an office area and obviously very popular with the profesionals. We will go back.

This was my second visit and I was a little disappointed. The food is great! The staff are friendly, but second time around, I felt a little forgotten. I had to find a staff member to take our order and the food was a little slow, even though it wasn't overly busy, and we had arrived before the lunchtime rush. Having said that, Mrs Hucks is totally worth a visit.

Admittedly we were a large group (15 of us) which may have explained why we had to wait so long between ordering and our meals arriving- some of us were thinking we wouldn't get our breakfast before we had to go to work! It might also explain why my eggs bene was cold but it doesn't explain why it was not cooked as I had asked. Also disappointing was the fact that there were no drinks for those of us who don't like tea or coffee (Eg hot lemon or hot black currant) Friends who ordered the French toast special (Good on Mrs Hucks for using it as a fundraiser for Breast Cancer) reported that the grilled melon (a substitute for the banana which they had run out of) was too big, hard to cut and didn't really work glazed. Overall I expected more
