  • The food was good, but just not enough of it. I enjoyed listening to the music as we ate. The service was decent for a place so busy on a Saturday night. I would return.

  • I've dined at Sweet Auburn many times in the past but hadn't been in a while. I took my fiance' and his mom for Father's Day and I was extremely disappointed. The service was sub-par, at best. The food was ok but I've had better. The prices increased since the last time I went and for those prices, I expect much more.....$18 for shrimp & grits and $11 for ONE mimosa! The ambiance also left much to be desired. I can't say that I'll go back.

  • Went here last night for a friend's birthday. We had a large party of 11 guests. It was a Tuesday night so the restaurant was practically empty, therefore, it was no wait with our seating. There was a live band playing and the entertainment was good. The food was actually good also. I had the shrimp and grits; The dish was great. Although my meal only had 5 shrimp and 2 sausages (but who's counting), for $22 plate; That was a bit steep, in my opinion. My biggest issue was the service was HORRIBLE! We waited about 30 minutes for drinks. It took over 1.5 hours, after seating, for our food. No refills, no checking in on the table, nothing! It took another 20 minutes, after our plates were removed and asking for our checks, before we received them. Our waitress was slower as molasses and we literally had to track her down in the restaurant! The gratituty was included due to the size of the party. I must admit if I was not apart of this group, I would have walked out. Needless to say, although the food was good, I will not return.
