  • We had about 20 people in our own room. It was billed as friendly, Southern food. Everyone asked for a 2nd round of the appetizers, especially the biscuits which are not to be missed. My steak was perfect with a most unusual side sauce. The folks who had the snapper and the fried chicken also raved about the food. ..and the service was diligent and friendly which can be unusual for a larger group.

  • We went for dinner midweek and ,frankly to our surprise,were blown away.I mean how good can Southern cuisine be?Well this visit educated us,it can be outstanding.First the biscuits-moist but light and fluffy.Beef tartare made from great meat,nicely spiced and served with very good mini pancakes.Very fresh Blackened red snapper in a wonderfully flavored tomato based broth with rock shrimp and a perfect duck breast served on a bed of tasty braised cabbage.Extensive wine list,very good service and lovely ambiance.Going back!

  • Bar. Very good Wait time. Short with a 6.45 reservation Saturday night Service. Brian was excellent. Attentive and knowledgeable. Biscuits. About like Bojan glee but without the salt Briskit. Heavily smoked. Unaccompanied. Very fatty. Average. Lobster pot pie. Lobster meat was AWOL. Crawfish was minimal. Sauce and pastry was good. Jacks salad. Pretty tasty. Blackened snapper. Well received by three who had it. Pork shoulder. Average. NY strip special. Very good and cooked perfectly. Ambiance. Busy. Loud. Not for intimacy or quiet conversation for sure. Dress. Some in shorts. Some in suits. Some in flip flops. Some in heels. Overall impression. Expensive. Small portions. Very good service. Southern food "dressed up" isn't necessary. Not really impressed.

  • Found seats at the bar where we were treated to great service by Jake. He recommended super delicious wine (Halter Ranch) and food to come back for. We had biscuits with butter, fried chicken sandwich, beef tartar, salmon and stupendous deviled eggs! Growing up in the south you judge biscuits!! And these were so good. Make sure you get one for each person in your group because you don't want to share. Make this a stop on your next visit here for sure.
