We were wakeboarding at Lago de Oro and just wanted to check if there are good places to dine. Low and behold, in between those houses, you'll find Chez Deo. All the food was spot on. Good service. Nice ambiance. Great with friends or on a date.

Visited my sister dentist in Balayan Batangas with my wife and kids for a dental check-up. My sister then treated us for pasta and pizza at Chez Deo that she's been bragging about the entire time in her clinic. We tried 3 kinds of their pasta thin crust pizza and found them really good. Got a chance to meet and congratulate the Chef (Deo) and according to him, the secret is fresh ingredients and imported spices. I couldn't agree more!

There are really no restaurants in Calatagan so we just decided to find a restaurant along the way. Along the way i saw a sign for Chez Deo in Balayan. Since it was already 2pm we decided to go there. Chez Deo is located near the Church. It is housed in a Old House. Parking is along the streets. The menu of Chez Deo is extensive. You would not think that a restaurant like it exists in Balayan. We ordered their pizza (forgot the name), a beef rib dish (forgot the name again) and tbone steak. While waiting for the dish we were given bread slices and a dip. First dish to arrive was the pizza. The pizza was good but somehow it didn't impress me. It probably has something to do with the sauce as i like my pizza on the sweet side. The Tbone Steak i really enjoyed. It was delicious. The mushroom gravy was very good and it was overflowing with mushrooms. The beef rib was good too and very tender. The servings here are big. The tbone steak my sister and i shared. While the beef rib, all of us three shared. Service was efficient. Definitely one of the best italian restos in the country.
