Booked Stars Restaurant for before show meal on 20th February, 2016. Had to wait in line for 15 minutes to be seated even though we had a reservation. The table we were seated at was positioned so the sun shone directly into my husband's eyes. When I asked if it was possible to move or do something about it, the answer.." No, that where all the two seat tables are." The food... Fixed menu with 3 mains And 3 desserts. The meals arrived about five minutes after ordering, obviously pre cooked hours before.The salmon was dreadful, absolutely tastless served with one bean and 2 small asparagas and a tiny bit of mash. The lamb was just as bad overcooked and grey in colour. The desserts: my husband had the ice cream which he said was quite ok.(well this was understandable as it is suppose to be frozen, all the other food had obviously come out of the freezer too.) I had the cheese plate, which was just disgusting, tiny pieces of cheese and dried pear and apple which was partially rotten. Photo attached. Possibly the worst meal we have had in years. I was up half the night in the bathroom.so I would advise steering clear of this restaurant at all costs. Cost ..$130.00.

Last time I ate at Stars before a show, it was really good, so it was with great anticipation that I booked for dinner before Elton John last night. The welcome was friendly but then things went downhill. I was seated at a hideous table with a partition around me (just because I was on my own?), within sight and sound of the toilets (over a wall, with a gap at the top). The waitress tried very hard to sell me an overpriced and overly sweet cocktail so I passed on that. The hors d'oeuvre was tiny, tasty but soggy. The main meal (barramundi) came out tepid, but to be fair it was replaced by a nice hot one very quickly. Whilst the seafood reduction was tasty enough the prawns (2) and mussel (1) garnish was a bit like eating a tyre. The maître d' came up to my table to apologise for the first tepid meal (nice touch), but in general he wore a not very impressive suit with scruffy shoes - (5 star dining staff?). Alas I didn't get round to handing him the small bullet like bread roll that I had been given as he departed with alacrity. I chose the cheese platter for dessert, the cheese was fine, but I really had to search for the quince paste, and I was totally underwhelmed by the one tiny slice of dried pear and one of apple. If I wanted to eat cardboard I would have eaten the wafers, but sadly not. It is with regret that I will eat at another restaurant BEFORE entering the Entertainment Centre for the next show I visit.

It had been sadly a couple of years since I had been to this restaurant. It still did not disappoint. If anything - I was more impressed. The little terraced areas gave a intimate feel and each area had it owns special customer service person - who could take your drink order, menu order, ensure your comfortable, offered ( verbally) to exchange my bread roll for GF when she realized I ordered a Gluten Free meal. You could even pay for your meal,at the table. Wonderful

Sick of the fast food or grabbing something early before you head to the concert I thought I would book into Stars before Roxette concert in Feb 2015. Was pleased we did it was great food and great service. It also meant we got there early before the crowds. Overall great!
