You have to go to a counter to order your food, which took 45 minutes standing in line. I recommend table service, or at least more staff. Bar service also slow in restaurant. Friday night band average. Lots of old folks, no-one under 60yrs.

The meals at the HQ restaurant have been very hit or miss over the last twelve months . We had the big burger, Easter eve, the presentation was worse than a fast food outlet on a Saturday night . The prices have gone through the roof !! Dine across the street at Maca's before going to Kedron Wavell !! Word of advise , check out the menu at the BUNYA SPORTS CLUB , better variety,far better prices !!

Ate at Kedron-Wavell service club quite often when the restaurant was upstairs and it was great, and then it was gone, BUT the new restaurant downstairs, restaurant three was a very disappointing experience. First the atmosphere feels like a bus station or airport eatery. The food is presented as slop in a army mess tent, and actually made me feel sick as it was very un appertising The roasts are not cooked properly and was very red, There was only the one choice of roast, so if you dont like a particular meat or cant eat it for certain reason you had better call the club first to see if the roast for that night is to your liking.The food was not hot and barley warm. So In a nut shell, Poor quality, poor selection, unhealthy food temperature, food not cooked properly, atmosphere is more like a canteen than a restaurant. On the upside the wait staff are un faultable very good, the manager Ali I think her name was, was very apologetic and stated that she had mentioned the quality of the roast and the fact that it wasn't cooked properly to the chef as others had also complained and she took all the other complaints on board. The desserts were nice except the pavalova was more like a game called find the pav in among the cream. Overall I'd give a 3.5 out of 10 and would advise you to find some where else to eat, as the Kedron-Wavell has definitely been taken off our list.
