  • My sister who is a Victoria local took me to Veneto for after dinner drinks. We were greeted by bartender Josh who was friendly & funny...we decided to "spin the wheel" where you tell the bartender what type of alcohol you like and then choose between which flavor profile you prefer (i.e. Sweet, sour, savory, spicy etc). You then are pleasantly surprised by the delicious beverage presented to you! It is quite entertaining to watch how the creative drinks are made. It is like an art form. I would highly recommend this place for a nice ambiance and good stiff drinks.

  • We only had drinks at the bar so I can not comment on the food. The cocktails inspired and delicious. The menu is unique, thoughtful and not so over the top that have forgotten about the classics. The bartender was excellent, pre chilling the glasses when needed, picking the perfect glass to fit the drink(they probably had over 30 different glass types for cocktails) mixing his own syrups & mixers to suit the recipe and he poured perfectly balanced drinks. I was very impressed and would return in heartbeat.

  • A friend and I dropped by the Veneto Tapa Lounge yesterday afternoon for a bit of a celebration. It was fairly qiet when we arrived at 4:30 but very quickly filled up with people who were obviously enjoying themselves. Service was excellent and the fairly large main room (there is also a bar) was more than comfortable. The wine list is comprehensive and there is a wide range of mixed drinks available as well. The food menu was innovative, portions were generous and the quality of the food excellent. My friend and I were quite conservative, ordering a very good charcuterie platter but more exotic items were certainly available. Prices were entirely reasonable. I'll go again.
