  • I love crab in all its guises so was excited to visit this restaurant. Went for one of the lunch sets as they were such great value. Staff were attentive and you had your own buzzer for anything you needed. Menus in English and lots of pictures. Every course was delicious and beautifully presented. I remember boiled crab, raw crab (slight difference in texture but very tasty), crab salad, a crab custard with exquisite mushrooms, a pot of steamed crab legs with rice augmented with stock other tasty ingredients, pickles, miso soup and a light sorbet and green tea to finish. I was there for about 2 hours in part because I find chopsticks tricky but it was also a meal to enjoy and at lunch it wasn't so busy you felt you had to rush. The tables are traditional - you will need to remove shoes - but the foot well and seat backs make it as comfortable and easy as any chair.
