  • I thought I'd give Miss India another try. Confirmed my opinion that the name should be changed to a complete miss. The quality of the curries has deteriorated as the franchise has grown. It is difficult to tell what type of curry you are really eating. The butter chicken is so sweet it drowns the chance of enjoying any subtle curry flavours. The lamb korma could have been anything and lacked any of the gentle robustness you expect from a korma. The most distinct element of the whole takeaway was the rice. For $9.95 for two curries and rice it appears good value. But when the franchise chooses profits over the original source of their success - good food then its all over. It's a shame really. Miss India had a good concept. I wont be spending my $9.95 here again or at any other Miss India store. Better I go home and prepare a good curry myself. OK if you want a quick takeaway but lower your expectations of enjoying a decent curry.
