The Corner Door is a great bar with great service and a great bar food menu. Lots of small dishes so you can try lots of things. I would recommend the cheeses and the chicken sliders. They make their own dip for the chips too and they are amazing. Great atmosphere would definitely recommend

Such a great happy hour and friendly service. The avocado toast was the highlight of the evening. I think I'm going to order 3 next time. Fish and chips were good, and the R&D burger (which comes with fries and a beer) was just ok. Overcooked and kinda bland. But since they create new ones frequently, I'm sure next time I go they'll have a different one to try. Great $5 old-fashioneds. 3.75 stars.

I went with 3 friends the other night for Dine LA. I had never been here before and thought that the offer of a 3 course menu for a decent price, was the perfect time to try this restaurant. We all found the restaurant too noisy. And while three of us do not mind reasonably noisy restaurants, I do, and it was, too my mind, unreasonably noisy.I don't want to be unfair and I do want to say that this is a neighborhood restaurant with a very nicely-animated bar scene. First, I would like to say that two of us really liked their meal of a raw oyster appetizer, and fish and chips. The third person didn't say much, so I can only infer that it was not remarkable. So this review is only for my quarter of the table. I had a short-rib ravioli which I found strange-tasting: I had a somewhat difficult time identifying the taste of the short ribs, and, had I not remembered what I had ordered, would not have been able to identify them as short ribs. I also found the ravioli itself, a bit tough for my taste. I could easily dismiss the rest of my menu but what's the point? I do think that this is very nice neighborhood bar that serves food, and I wish them every success: I believe that every neighborhood should have a bar and restaurant .

Really good food here on a limited menu. This place was a 4.5 star joint when it first opened up but since then the service has taken a bit of a hit. We had drinks here last night and you could tell our patio server didn't really care to be there or to even to service our table. Not sure if it's a mgmt issue or what but something I hope they fix. Recommended but manage expectations.
