  • 正宗的西餐厅，装修的简单，却不失雅观，坐在里面很舒适，品尝美味的葡萄酒，嫩而不酥的牛肉，口味相当赞。不愧为大师级制作

  • It is classified as one of the best resturants in Dakar. I went there yesterday with two colleagues. The ambiance is nice and the staff is friendly. However, the menu was not up to my expectations especially the seafood one. I had a fish meal; it was ok, but not exceptional. However, the dessert was great.

  • From the atmosphere to the food to the service, La Fourchette is simply awesome! My sister was married last weekend and we held her bachelorette party on May 26th at La Fourchette. Zeinhab, the manager, is the best as she organized everything with very little direction. Her eye for detail, the service and the food all made for a super fun night. We will return to this resto when we are back in Dakar, that is for sure!

  • This resto, located in downtown Dakar, serves up a great atmosphere as it turns into a lounge late at night. Occasionally, a live band entertains a dancing crowd. It is highly recommended to make a reservation as they place can get crowded especially on Thursday nights. The service is however indifferent as is the food. Long waits for food is quite normal. The sashimi tends to be old and is not worth the price.

  • I've been hearing about this place for 15 years, and it was a huge disappointment - other than the friendliness and graciousness of the manager who squeezed us in for an early dinner. The servers were all stressed (and it was just the beginning of the night), and were attentive, though seemed fake-nice and not really listening to our questions or requests. We ordered mostly Mexican-cuisine, all fairly good, though nothing special, and relied on bell peppers and onions for taste. The corn tortillas, and the guacamole, were outstanding though! If you're a vegetarian, I would not recommend going here, though they have some veg options. Most everything we asked for to be made veg was not possible, and our meals came with different ingredients than we were quoted, which was a bummer since I was allergic to one of them I had specifically requested not to have.
