  • If you visit Big Italiano on a weekday morning it's not uncommon to see a very long queue of local office workers lining up for coffee, but don’t be put off by the queue because these girls are the fastest and friendliest baristas I have ever met, and they will have your hot coffee and toast in your hands with a smile long before any of the other nearby vendors. It’s also about the best value in Melbourne, at only $2.50 if you bring your own reusable cup. The girls who work there are just incredibly lovely, and are by far the restaurants best assets….they regularly make my day with their genuine warm greetings and it’s a great start to the morning to see them singing and dancing while they happily go about their work. My only criticism is the type of soy milk they use could be better, and I’d happily pay a little extra for it, but I can’t imagine going anywhere else for my morning coffee.
