We visited on a very quiet day. This affected the overall atmosphere a little bit. The staff was a little bit too stiff for an easy party like us. The food was excellent as well as the wines. The view over the PSV stadium of course is very powerful.

We went here again for lunch, just like a year ago. The service and the food was as outstanding as it was before. It is quiet at lunch which is really nice id you want to talk. The modern atmosphere is great but cozy and the view of the PSV Stadium is something which is hard to beat .... even if you are not a football fan. I had a guest from the USA who only ate beef and I called ahead and talked to the kitchen. As a main meal the chef made a filet mignon in a sauce that was to die for. My gringo friend was impressed. All the usual goodies were fantastic. I personally think they deserve two Michelin stars and will got back again in less than a year from now. Prices of the meal and the wines were fair. Highly recommended

Do you love soccer and good food? Then you should give Avant Garde a visit. You should however not wear your local team's T-shirt ;) since this place is upscale and renowned for its Michelin Star-quality of food. I don't care about soccer at all however I still like the experience. From inside the restaurant you'll have an excellent view on the inside of the Philips soccer stadium. Food is great and for me one of the best experiences I ever had in the Eindhoven area. Excellent food in a unique setting! Great for business or a very special occasion.
