  • Our group of 26 stopped for snacks and drinks, spent over $300, no please or thank you from Judy, the owner. Toilets open at 9am, 3 requests before she would open them at 9:20am for the ladies in the group. Repetitive behavior from this woman as she did the same thing in Sep15 when the group was there. On principal, we didnt stop on the return trip. 3 days later we went past again and only stopped as a couple in the group needed fuel, same nasty attitude. Judy also manages some of the local holiday accommodation.....good luck dealing with her.

  • We went to Fraser Island and ended up at the Orchid Beach shop where we were buying diesel and lunch. It took our grand children a little bit of time to decide what they wanted. The lady behind the counter was extremely unfriendly. We felt sorry we had come there and spent $200. I recommend to skip the place. Go to Happy Valley instead, where people are friendly and choice us great. It us also an independant owner. So not part of the Kingfisher Group.
