  • Wonderful food more pricey than their competition but we'll worth it. Would recommend that you make a reservation. They offer private dining areas. Well positioned in the Grand Palm Hotel (Waldorf). Have not being disappointed service a notch above the general standard in Gabs.

  • Dined there a few times including a group dinner I had with a few of my clients in one of the private rooms. The only place I have enjoyed duck in Gaborone. They also have a good spiced whole bream. It Is a nice place a nice quiet evening, especially when you are in private room. The main restaurant can be very noisy. But I always enjoy their meals. A must when in Gaborone

  • My wife and I went out for a romantic quite evening. We sat outside in very pleasant and well decorated surroundings. Half of the outdoor area is covered under roof. I am aware that outdoors in Africa normally means a smoking area. We sat under the roofed area and the smoke from fellow guests was very over powering and caused us to move right out into the open. Food was good and the service was reasonable. It took quite a time to get the waitrons attention and then he added 2 bottles of water to our bill which we hadn't had! I have visited this establishment before and found it very good but on this occasion we were disappointed

  • First, the service at this restaurant is quite good. The food is very tasty, especially the appetizer called "ants on a tree". Being in beef country, I had the beef and not the chicken. The rice was well done. I didn't try the noodles, as I am not a fan of noodles. The chicken (meal course) was also tasty. There was a fish (served whole... King pin or something like that), which was excellent! The wine selection was good. I loved their Rose. We were a sizeable group, so we got one of the quiet, private room. Very tastefully furnished, although one room did not have working air-con, but that was quickly sorted out. All in all, a pleasant experience.
