  • We came for brunch on a glorious autumn day. I was disappointed the bacon was not free farmed so opted for scrambled eggs instead. They were a bit dry for my taste and quite a strong flavour of garlic and although I love garlic it's not a flavour I would normally associate with eggs. The coffee was great as was the toast and my husband enjoyed his mushrooms. Nice setting, dog friendly and friendly staff created a pleasant experience.

  • I like the yesteryear train station setting. The staff are very pleasant and the food is good. Plenty of parking outside and has great outdoor space.

  • Definitely a "random" choice for us as we continue our exploration north of Auckland, definitely a "character" environment being in the one time railway station and the food was excellent, my wife said the Chicken & Brie Panini was among the best she has ever had! The "open" pasttie was also excellent and accompanied by a nice salad. Milkshakes were a little on the small side especially for the price but we would definitely stop in again on our way to or from the north.
