  • I'm surprised this is not one of the top 10 restaurants in Istanbul. The food is delicious and the presentation is extraordinarily innovative and tasteful. Drinks are out of this world. Who would have thought that Bay leaf ice-cream would be so tasteful? Who would have thought the boring Iskandar kabab could be presented as an painting palette that is not only elegant but light. The set up is a gorgeous Ottoman bank with a marvelous view on the Bosphorous and the Suleymanieh Mosque. We met Sous-Chef Andreas who was very amiable and offered us the free tasting of their unique Bay leaf ice-cream. If you're in Istanbul and have time, make sure to stop by at Neolokal....
