  • A touch of Western Europe in Kiev. Great views of Kiev city from the 15th floor of the City Hotel keep you located otherwise you could believe you're in France. The service is great and the food is of a good standard. We enjoyed some shared starters: Chicken Liver Pate; Red Caviar on Toast (why wouldn't you in this part of the world) and a Bruschetta of Brie and Pear; for mains, my Veal with Foie Gras and potato gnocchi was delicious and the Steak and Lamb dishes got the tick of approval. The wines however are definitely over-priced so choose wisely. I chose an excellent 2006 Brunello di Montalcino Poggione. Overall, one of the more expensive nights out in Kiev, but a good experience.

  • 大厨推介的欧陆菜式有：正宗乌克兰罗宋汤、招牌芝士焗牛脷盅、俄国宫廷烟鹿肉、地道香烧猪肋骨、焗苹果鸭胸等。紫红色的乌克兰罗宋罗由新鲜带甜的红菜头肴制而成，汤中间放有酸忌廉；招牌芝士焗牛脷盅面层置有一层脆香酥皮，吃的时候可先将酥皮切成细件夹着牛脷连汁一同吃下。不得不提的是店内有入口自东欧的伏特加及各式各样的酒类饮品，也是客人再次光临的原因。

  • 这是一家很典型的乌克兰风格的餐馆，位于基辅城市酒店的15层，从餐馆的窗户望外面，基辅市容尽收眼底，很漂亮。餐馆本身也是宽敞明亮，装饰很优雅。这里的西餐做得很好，特别是餐后甜点和冰激凌非常好吃。

  • We've stayed at the City Hotel 4 times in different seasons of the year and Matisse is hands down the best in Kiev.. We've had breakfast, lunch and dinner 50 plus times and never once have had a bad meal. I guess that says a lot in itself. Its a little expensive but you are paying for top quality and this is exactly what you get.. The staff are the most pleasant welcoming that we have come across in all of Kiev and believe me ive eaten at more than i can count.. The view from this 15th floor hotel restaurant is absolutely magnificent morning, day, night, sun, rain or snow and if you're lucky you might run into some celebrities whlie you are dining there.. i can not express to you enough how much you should experience the pleasure we have so many times; as a matter of fact, im going to go there right now.

  • The restaurant is located on the 15 th floor and the view all around Kiev is amazing. There are no walls, only huge windows and that is the point. Food was average. Not bad but nothing to talk about really. My bad was not to check the price of the wine and I took 2 glasses of wine 400 UAH (around 17 EUR) each. Waiter was friendly and spoke ok English. I don't think I will ever go there again unless I would have a business dinner there. But it was worth it to come and see.
