  • I visited Cafe Travelers High after having one too many calpis-sours at yakiniku restaurant. I asked the people running the cafe if they had calpi-sour on their menu. They didn't but offered to make me one anyway and it turned out really good!!! I ended up chatting with the female owner (she speaks English really well!!!!) about Kyoto and travelling while the guy behind the counter spoke about the different living standards in Japan. They were hella chill and awesome to hang out with. I would love to go back and relax there for a few hours. The cafe is also really close to Shijo Street and several very cute restaurants so for any tourist who wants to to chill after exploring Nishiki Market and Teramachi Street and learn more about Kyoto, this place is the best!
