  • My mom and I had just arrived to Kyoto and where looking for a vegetarian restaurant (I am allergic to shellfish and wanted to be safe) near Bistrot Bon Morceau to our luck it was close that day. Walking down the street we saw the Bistrot and decided to go in. The ambiance of this restaurant is like a bistro in France, small tables, wood and beautiful lighting. The service was our of this World as it is the norm in Japan and the food was amazing. I tried the foie gras and the flavors were exquisite and very delicate, after I had the pasta casserole it was delicious and very filling with lots of carrots, meat and cheese. The dessert was great I don’t remember the name of it, they serve it on a beautiful glass it had some transparent jelly and something that resemble coconut jelly on the middle. Overall a great dinning experience. I recommend if you have some days in Kyoto to go a have lunch or dinner at the Bistrot you will not regret it. Bon Appetite
