I have been a patron of La Tavernetta since its opening. I can't say enough about this restaurant. Family owned and run with chefs from Italy whose cuisine never lets you down ! The quality of the food is always fresh , tasty and well presented. The staff are warm and welcoming , always delivering great service and make you feel like family. The ambiance is friendly, cosy and warm. I recently had two group bookings with each having 20 people. One was my 60th two weeks ago and the most recent today, 20 cousins for a two yearly reunion. Our last one was also here at La Tavernetta and the whole family were eager to return ! Everyone were happy with the meal. So much delicious food and special meals for the children. Some of my cousins drove all the way from Port Macquarie, Newcastle and Berowra Waters ! All of them stated that it was worth the trip !!! Very complimentary about the food. I thank all at La Tavernetta for always caring and ensuring that we all leave satisfied and happy. We came away with new family memories of sharing a wonderful day and meal together. Do yourselves a favour .... Come dine at La Tavernetta. You will not be disappointed. ! Siete bravissimi , vi ringrazio dal cuore ❤️

Have been going to the Italian Forum for many years now. It's state today is really a glimpse of its former glory. Saturday night and most of the restaurants were closed. Only 3 options were the Georgian one, La Tavernetta and another one at next to it. We opted for La Tavernetta and we were pleasantly surprised. They had great breads that came as starters and the pasta and pizza that we tried were really good. Their service was friendly and efficient and they were happy to work around their plates to meet your requirements. It is like a family place that you could find in Italy. I would definitely go back to try their other options.
