  • El Corte Ingles is the biggest chain of department store in Spain and in Europe. The one located at Nuevos Ministerios in Madrid is the biggest and the best of them all. Locals and tourists can buy everything there. And if they need to eat something, the Gourmet Experience is fantastic. You don't have to leave the store because it's a set of different little restaurants in the middle of the delicatessen supermarket (known as Club del Gourmet). Spanish cuisine, Japanese, Chinese, high end Hamburgers, special Pizzas, salads, etc… And you can ask to be served from different restaurants. Just try it if you're there: you won't regret it.
