  • 大都会附近的一家中餐厅，说是附近，也差了几个block了，走走大概十来分钟吧。餐厅环境很棒，不像大部分美国中餐馆又旧又油腻的样子，进店老板娘主动招呼。点了肋排、炒面和炒时蔬三个菜，上来后发现后面两个好像同一个菜啊。肋排小份就有六条，三个人一人两条，美味是美味，就是吃相很容易变难看。炒面其实就是我们这里的两面黄，和旁边的蔬菜一样都是偏咸，但还是好吃的。走的时候老板娘笑着说说下次再来哦，嗯，如果下次再来大都会，应该会再来吃。

  • Pig Heaven is located close to the Metropolitan Museum between 80th to 81st. It is always a restaurant we return to when we are in NYC. This visit we had both lunch and dinner. Lunch is the best time to visit for many reasons. First it is a quiet time so a booking is not required. Secondly there are lunch time specials. Each main dish comes with vegetable spring rolls, a choice of soup and either white or brown rice. Thirdly it is just pure unadulterated good value. Dinner is a more hectic affair. It is obviously not merely for the restaurant but also the takeaway crowd. We ate on a Sunday evening and counted a myriad of pink plastic bags being ferried to drivers and then onto customers. As to the food, the porcine delights remain with the barbecue ribs attracting the most interest. So popular are these that there is always a risk that they may run out. All the food is great. We had the General Tso's chicken and chilli shrimp as well. Both were made more spicy for us. Service is efficient.

  • I gave Pig Heaven a try after reading rave reviews about their spare ribs, so naturally, we tried the spare ribs and also the sesame beef. To be honest, the ribs were delicious but they were tough to eat, I was expecting them to fall off the bone after reading such wonderful reviews. The meal was saved by the sesame beef, it was absolutely delicious, probably the best Chinese dish I've ever had! A bold statement but both myself and my partner are still talking about it days later! The lady who runs the place Nancy was very friendly as were all the staff! Definitely worth a visit for the sesame beef!
