  • It was about 2:30pm when we found this place coming back to the downtown from Lido di Noto, where we could not find any open place to eat. However this Pizzeria was a nice surprise, particularly with one very friendly waiter who actually could speak excellent English (first one in three days, he spent one year in Dublin, so no wonder). He explained the menu choices in detail and recommended excellent food. Our daughter loved the Margherita pizza, we had excellent pastas, the gnocchi with porcini was particularly good. Food was nice everywhere in Sicily so far though, but the feeling of being able to hold a normal conversation with the waiter was irreplaceable.
