  • We chanced onto this restaurant on the restaurant floor in Hanyu dept store. We being non japanese speaking gajin, the head waitress was most patient and understanding in explaining the menu to us. The menu is in English btw. The restaurant serves artisan pork from the famous breed in Japan. We had a sampler of of 3 different pork and the pork was most delicious. there is no hint of oil at all from the deep frying. The rice and shredded cabbage is free flow. For 4 of us, we ordered the sampler, one other 'house' pork and a mixed plate of fried oyster and prawn, average price is about 2000 yen per person. Excellent value for the food and service.
