  • So every place we live we try and find a little place which is our little go to place. In Boston we had Chilli Duck and in Philly in may just be the Caribbean Delight. Very low key and unassuming but the food is great!

  • If you are feeling a little home sick away from Jamaica and you need some good Jamaican food to cure your sickness go to Caribbean Delight. The food is great and the staff is wonderful!

  • I was told to visit Caribbean Delight for some home-cooked food whilst in Philly, and I wasn't disappointed. After a warm welcome (it was so good to hear some Jamaican Patois), I chose the Jerk Chicken Lunchtime Special for $9 (Mon-Fri between 12pm and 2pm). I had to wait around 10 minutes or so for my take-out order to be ready, but I really didn't mind, as it meant I could take in all the really nice, brightly painted cultural murals on the walls and ceiling of the Restaurant. The meal for one was enough for two, but I knew that already! It was well cooked and tasted so good. If you're into real Jamaican home cooking, then Caribbean Delight is a real treat; excellent food, good customer service and good value for money.

Very low key and unassuming but the food is great! I had the Chicken Curry and my wife had the shrimp. It was well cooked, tasty and affordable. The portions were a good size, my wife took part of hers back home, I finished my rather large portion. Highly recommend - will certainly put up another post after having tried the other two Caribbean places to compare and contrast.
