  • The Dandelion's large wooden front door caught my attention as my friend and I were walking through the neighborhood. It was quite a find. The atmosphere is great, the food is well-prepared traditional British fare, and the service is top notch.

  • Lovely food, good size portions, friendly staff and food served quickly. Only negative was it was a little too dark for a restaurant and noisy downstairs. Small gripes though and would be happy to eat there again.

  • My son and I visited The Dandelion after the suggestion of friend. This quaint restaurant has two levels - main floor is a bar (very busy when we arrived) and an upper level where they have dining in many different areas. My only complaint about the upstairs was that it was fairly dark and this made reading the menu difficult. Once I was able to see (with the help of my phone) what was on the menu, I eager awaited my fish and chips. The fish was tender and flaky with a very light batter. It was seasoned perfectly. To compliment my meal I had a Manger's Pear Cider. My son had the mac and cheese. Both meals were satisfying and reasonably priced. As the evening wore on, we had a beautiful view of the city and the setting sun.
