  • the boat is moored pretty much the entire time, except one short spin every evening. the interiors are fancily done, like most restaurants in pyongyang. the dining area is a big airconditioned hall, but it is an amazing experience to sit on the small deck outside, watch the city lights, the traffic on the two bridges, and enjoy one's drinks and food. the food is good, mostly korean but some international. sometimes there is live singing, even by kids at times on special occasions. must experience if in pyongyang.

  • The food was substantial as well as delicious - the dishes just kept coming. There were veggies, fish and chicken. We were told this is a new restaurant. As we lunched the ship floated down and back on the river giving us water side views of Tower of Juche Idea and the accompanying large statues, Korean Central History Museum, USS Pueblo and other huge architectural buildings. Everything they build is huge
