餐厅介绍

Nico今年从米其林推荐餐厅变成了米其林一星餐厅,餐厅主营改良的美式和法式料理,不提供菜单,每天都会随主厨的意见和食材变化菜单,餐厅只提供一种套餐。

    菜单基本是小吃,酒水和tasting menu. tasting menu 价格仍然是很亲民,$70 五道菜,会随季节变化更换菜单。wine paring 是$60, 大概两个半杯。各种食物都很清爽适口。甜点很有惊喜。服务非常好!服务我们的mm从头到尾都笑容可掬无微不至。

  • 餐厅里面座椅不是很多,但是很雅致的一家法国餐厅。炭烤章鱼真的很好吃,火候拿捏的恰到好处,还有他们的甜品,也是一道亮点啊。

  • Nico bistro 是以法式为主的小馆子,同时使用了很多旧金山当地的应季食材。各种食物都很清爽适口。甜点很有惊喜。店子不大,厨房是开放式的,服务生的着装都是欧洲风,整体环境和服务都非常温馨 。门口还有很全的酒吧适合小憩。

    饭前的小点心是咸味的玛德琳,很有大中华葱油饼或者葱油面包的赶脚。
    芦笋很清新,蔬菜非常爽脆,用刨成丝的杏鲍菇和细碎的芝士来搭配增添了风味。
    碳烤章鱼须也是餐厅的常见款,他家的为了好看藏在little gem菜叶子下面(心机重)搭配的柠檬酱。总体……稍微有点苦...
    鳕鱼还是那只肥美的鳕鱼,蔬菜的搭配不错,豆子是调过味的(他家做豆子真挺好吃),切薄片的白萝卜很有去腥解腻的作用。
    既然叫bistro..鸭胸肉无可厚非的出现了。听介绍的时候说鸭胸用了四川花椒,突然想起了EMP的那道著名的鸭胸,不过他家的鸭胸感觉还是不一样的而且味道要点个赞。鸭肉medium rare的恰到好处,应该是水浴过的通体柔嫩。S一般是不爱吃fennel的因为这个蔬菜有很重的草药味,他家fennel处理的很好,草药味被隐藏蔬菜的甜味带出来了。几块柚子和肥肉的搭配前不久在state bird provision 吃过,仍然很喜欢。酱汁要是在再多一点点就好了。
    正式甜点前赠送了一道小甜品,vanilla custard with citrus fruit. 这里的蛋奶酱的确是酱,很浓稠那种,可以看到新鲜的香草籽的黑点儿,不会太甜腻。搭配橘子柚子瓣之类的,很爽口。
    之前的主食都有点跑来吃星级餐厅定搭的感觉…好吃是好吃没有惊喜。这道甜品倒是让我眼前一亮。两个圆圆的蛋一样的冰淇淋,一个是薄荷巧克力味的一个是牛油果味的。挚爱牛油果的人S爷虽然听说这玩意儿吃甜的也很不错,不过拿来做冰淇淋还做的这么顺滑的还是第一次吃到。甜味也掌握的刚刚好。旁边搭配的薄荷叶也是特殊处理还裹了一层巧克力,和冰淇淋搭配在一起多重口感非常赞。
    吃到这里正餐就结束了,最后收尾又给我们来了两个甜的玛德琳,表皮脆脆的,热热的吃着很暖心。

  • Having learned about this restaurant on Tasting Table, I decided to book our anniversary dinner with them. We were over the moon. Our center table allowed us to watch the chefs prepare a superb meal. Having chosen to do the "blind menu", or chef's choice, we were ecstatic about the food. We have recommended the place to everyone we meet. A definite taste treat.

  • The service was good and the wine even better. The food should have been better referring to the Michelin star and price. Maybe we we're unlucky since the menu changes frequently. We were four people there and non of us were impressed. We've all had way better food in SF. The fish was undercooked and the pork was burnt. The price wasn't the same as it said on the website either.

  • We were excited to try Nico and were amply rewarded. The menu is up to the kitchen and the food is amazing. Paced perfectly to allow for great conversation, you will be enchanted by perfect portions and grand tastes. A truly wonderful place for a nice, comfortable night.

  • Our NYC foodie friend was in town and made a reservation here for the three of us, so on a rainy evening we headed into SF from Berkeley ready for a good meal but not prepared to be so completely blown away. We skipped paying the $30 for a glass of the magnum vintage champagne they open each night and ordered a glass of a lesser, but completely delightful, champagne to start instead. We chose the "surprise" method of receiving the 5-course prix fixe menu, where you know nothing about it until each plate is set gently before you and the wait person introduces you to it face-to-face. The menu changes every night; our dinner was a heavenly beet salad, scallops with watermelon radish, black cod with trumpet mushrooms and fennel foam, duck two ways, and a small, fragrant three part dessert (nut meringue, pistachio cake and sweet foamy something). We also had 2 wine pairings, my husband and I split one because he was our driver - the wines were more than good, though I was not surprised and enchanted by them as I was by the wine pairing at Chez Panisse back in Berkeley, which is now my standard for wine pairings. The service was attentive and helpful without being always at our elbows, the room is casually beautiful. A wonderful dinner, a wonderful dining experience. We will be back.
