  • My partner and I dined at Assembly restaurant (the sister to Assembly bar) a few weeks ago when in Sydney on holiday. the restaurant had only been opened a couple of weeks and as such they were still waiting for their liquor licence so we could BYO (perfect). As they were very new, the service wasn't flawless (to be expected) but they were so attentive and friendly, the tiny oversights were completely forgiven. Best of all, the food was amazing. I had the porcini risotto which was without doubt best risotto I've ever had. My partner had the linguine and said it was "to die for!" I saw the pizzas and wanted to stay an extra night so we could dine there again. Will definitely return when next in Sydney. A memorable night
