We had dinner with work friends, and there are separate huge menus for each style of food that they serve. We had a hard time to decide between Chinese, Japanese, Mongolian Italian, so we got some of each. Quite a spread, not very expensive and good service. We really enjoyed both Chinese and Mongolian food.

Tucked in an overgrown area of the children's park, the outside of this drab brick building is not promising. But inside is a surprisingly lovely restaurant, with a very formal upstairs dining room ringed by a more relaxed circular seating area decorated in warm woods and exposed rafters, with tables set up for Korean barbecue next to sunny windows. There are literally five different menus- they set the huge stack on the table and it takes a while to peruse all the options! Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Western, and "Noodle Party" were the options, and each menu was the length of a typical restaurant's full offerings! We expected that with so many options listed, there might be things unavailable, but they had everything we requested. I had spicy seafood soup, my friend had pineapple chicken. Mine was absolutely delicious, she said hers was good but not extraordinary. Portions were large- I couldn't finish all of my soup. The service was excellent and the ambiance and ease of parking (plenty in the parking lot out front) were a standout. Prices were a little high by UB standards but still quite reasonable by Western standards, especially for the upscale setting (most dishes 10000-25000MNT). Downstairs is a karaoke bar (which we did not visit) and a bakery where we bought some pastries and cookies to go. Reasonable prices and great selection in the bakery- the shortbread cookies were buttery and delicious. Proof that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover or a restaurant by its facade!

Great variety of Mongolian, Korean, Chinese, Japanese and European dishes. Good choice of wine and spirits. Very good service, a bit pricey though.

After visiting the mongolian folk music show, we went for a diner in the restaurant Seoul which is located in the neighbour building. The restaurant is placed in the middle of the park and there is a nice view of the park through the restaurant windows. This was our first visit to the korean restaurant but with the help of the waiter we menaged to place the appropriate order. We ordered two soups (beef and vegetable), a kind of fried roles/dumplings and thin slices of raw beef meat which was barbecued infront of us in the table built-in owen. Delicious. The waiter brought us also a lot of different side dishes (vegetables and meat) which are obviously part of the korean dinner. We ordered also a kind of korean vodka (low alcohol with a slightly sweet taste which we found very good). For the desert we ordered the cake from their selection which can be found in their bakery shop in the entrance floor. We were very satisfied with the restaurant, food and sevice and so we recommend this restaurant to all potential visitors.
