  • Five of us travelling from WA state... staying at Magnolia Hotel (great place.) Easy walk over to the 500 block of Yates. Got there at opening... 5pm. Happy Hour is a smoking deal on wine by the glass but we started with Negroni's... automatically served on the rocks which is my preference. This is my go-to cocktail... I noticed something special... what ? finally decided it was the Bitters... love this bartender but have no name. Other smoking deal at HH is Oysters. I am increasingly cautious about raw seafood but felt OK when waitress said they were from way North... pristine Northern Vancouver Is. went for it SPLENDID... AMONG THE BEST EVER $1 each. Made a meal of small plates seafood emphasis Yum Yum. All in $250 with tip a great meal.
