My wife and I wanted something nice to eat the night we arrived in Victoria. This place had been recommended. BONUS! Cod and chips was half price on Tuesdays. We ordered 2 2piece cod and chips and 2 soft drinks. The beer batter was very bitter and ultra greasy, causing me 2 days of gastric problems. Staff was great, very friendly, but don't get sucked in by the half price thing.

Excellent food, atmosphere, service & daily specials. FREQUENT OTTER CARD, too for the "can't live without it" ones of us. On the Inner Harbour.

We had just gotten off the ferry from Port Angeles, checked into our hotel (Hilton Doubletree) and got a recommendation from the concierge to try The Flying Otter Grill. It was a busy afternoon, but we were seated for drinks and given a table on the deck for lunch. We had a great view of the boats and sea planes. Of the 4 of us, 3 of us ordered the Salmon Wellington. It was fantastic! A great way to start our time in Victoria. The mixed drinks were as good as the service. I highly recommend The Flying Otter Grill.

What a location right next to the orca spirit tours for whale watching and next to the planes. You can have a seat outside at the water. Inside it's also nice. The staff is very nice, they told us about the happy our with their starters so we have ordered 2 times chicken wings and paid only for 1. They were the best I have ever tasted! We were there a couple of times to have drinks and food...It's a nice atmosphere and lovely food and very good service. You should go there when you are in Victoria!
