  • A very nice casa in Vinales, with two big rooms on the first floor and a roof terrace with a beautiful view of the valley. Ridel, the owner, knows many people in the area and organised two nice excursion for us; Claribel, his wife, mde us feel at home

  • Ridel and Claribel were the best of company during our 3 night stay in Vinales, as they made us feel completely at home, and went out of their way to make sure that we were 100% satisfied. This included booking and paying for all taxis when they were needed, serving us cheese fetched in from another province, and bringing us fresh coffee by 7:30am every morning! Claribel works incredibly hard in the kitchen to serve up some of the best dishes that you can eat in Cuba, and we personally felt no need to go anywhere else for dinner whilst in Vinales. For a delicious meal at an amazing price just ask for some of her vegetarian dishes, such as beans, rice and eggs! We cannot recommend this couple enough, and even though their house may seem slightly out of the centre, the walk to the popular bars only is only a maximum of 10 minutes.

  • Fantastic casa in Vinales. Very friendly couple Ridel & Claribel and their two lovely daughters. Our room was spacious, immaculately clean and had a well stocked fridge with cold drinks / beer etc. Lovely ensuite with shower. Ridel speaks English and will arrange horseriding in the beautiful countryside / national park. We ate in the Casa and the food was the best food we ate in Cuba with beautiful fresh fruits/veg / chicken/fish/lobster/ rice / beans/ salads etc on offer. Very helpful couple who made us feel so welcome in their home. The casa has a beautiful roof top area with tropical plants / seating / swinging hammock etc which overlooks the amazing countryside. We would definitely recommend this casa to anybody who is travelling to Vinales. They meet you at the local square and ensure you are up ready to catch your transfer when you leave. We have lovely memories of our trip to Cuba and can guarantee that you will not be disappointed as the countryside / tobacco / coffee region is well worth the 2 1/2 hour drive from Havana. We stayed here in January 2014 - the weather was 30 degrees with beautiful blue skies. TIM & ELIZABETH W.

  • We ate every meal here for five days and every meal was delicious! Fresh juice, coffee, fruit, bread and eggs in the morning, eaten on the rooftop deck with the views of Vinales. Fish or sandwiches for lunch with more fresh juice and fruit. The best mojitos we had in Cuba in the afternoon. Lobster, fish or chicken with rice, soup and salad for dinner. The best lobster I've ever had! Only available to people staying at the casa at the moment...
