Went here for breakfast because it was in the hotel. I knew it would be expensive - it was. I ordered from the menu instead of having the buffet. The food was well prepared and tasty. The pot of coffee put on my table was well appreciated. Service was excellent. In the end, I did not mind the expense on return for a good, quiet breakfast in a peaceful environment.

Hotel has a good buffet. Lots of choices including an omelette station, fresh oatmeal, cereals, fruit, etc. Also had fresh green smoothies available.

The breakfast buffet is fine and the location is convenient if you're already at the hotel. But trying to arrange for a group (15 people) for breakfast was trying. Called and left multiple messages. No one called back. Finally got in touch with a manager who assured me that they don't take reservations but that the could handle the group. The suggestion was to just show up early. That ended up being fine since our group met at 7 a.m. very soon after the restaurant opened. But if your meeting is later the logistics may be trying. Again, the food isn't terrible, the service at breakfast was pretty good, and the price is what you'd expect from an urban hotel. Just be vigilant if you're trying to manage the logistics for a larger party and make sure you stay on top of the details.

Outstanding breakfast buffet! Omelet station where they use fresh eggs, not processed scrambleds, and toppings include meats, cheeses, zucchini, shrimp, crab, etc. Cold bar included smoked salmon, fruits, meats, etc. Hot bar included wonderful tricolor roasted potatoes, bacon, sausage, French toast. They will also do pancakes and waffles to order, and breakfast includes juice, coffee or tea. Very nice people, nice atmosphere! Close to Mt. Vernon Metro.
