I invited my out of country visitors to my neighbourhood Kebab House. They also knew this place for 50+ years so it was easy to order. We sat at the upper floor and it was really comfortable because the resaturant was not full in the meddle of Ramadan. The aircondition was very efficient at this hot summer afternoon. Sevice was perfect. Everybody ordered different types of lahmacuns: Mine was cruncy and pre-cut as usual. The table was satisfied ! Then we ordered different kebabs. My Ali Nazik which is the long minced 'Beyti' skewers sitting on a bed of mashed aubergine, was fantastic. Noone complained because they were very happy. We then ordered mixed 'kadayıf' with cream and hazel nuts. Perfect desert for the exit. We finalized the meal with our teas. Overall very successful. I recommend Tatbak to everyone.

This restaurant is a very old one dating to more than 50 years. They are in the same place for many years. They have renovated the place last year and it is very comfortable with enough space to move around. The staff is very friendly and kind of family now because of our past. Probably this has been my one of the 100+ visits to this neighbourhood restaurant. It has the best 'Lahmacun' in town. The 'Halep isi' kabab is fantastic with crusted pita on the bottom. The creamy desert which is a kind of Turkish delight is superb. It is very affordable. What else can I say to draw you in ?

The lahmacun here is absolutely delicious. It's so thin and flavorful. You may think, oh we can share one for the table, wrong! Do you self a favor and get your own because you won't want to share. Another dish I found delicious was the pistachio/beef kebab, you can actually taste chunks of pistachio inside.
