Thank you Marksie for a fabulous night of learning about the different bush herbs and tasting them in the meals you had prepared for us. Your choice of menu was so original, all cooked in camp ovens on an open fire. We experienced food that we'd never tried before and to top the night off with a Billy tea, gem scones and great stories was amazing. Would definitely recommend this experience to everyone, great for the whole family.

I was lucky enough to have an evening at Marksie's for a work event, and what a great evening it was! The food was excellent, even as a vegetarian I had plenty to eat and the little quiches and wattleseed damper were delicious. Marksie is a great entertainer and his story of how he first got involved in cooking with native ingredients is really interesting. Marksie's is a true blue Aussie experience and I highly recommend it to anyone passing through Katherine - a fun night out under the stars.

Such a good night out, eating under the stars like the stockman do, meeting other travelers and feasting on delicious, exotic ingredients. Such a unique experience. Cant thank you enough for providing this wonderful experience and cultural culinary journey. Still licking my lips :)
