  • Love going to this place when I want to great almondmilk mocha or vegan cookie and I sit in the hobbit hole all the way in the back. Make sure you check that out! Although the atmosphere is really cool in this café, somethings to be noted are the staff cannot be as friendly as they should be and it's often filled with hipsters on their laptops. I don't think kids would be is welcome here but it would be nice to see kids and families more often to filter through all the lonely singles Ha ha ha. But overall it's a beautiful place that I love coming back to because there's a pool tables and awesome coffee and such a variety, it's almost like a bar but it's definitely a coffee shop. I have not tried the food so I can't say the food is good but I really love the hobbit hole in the back and if you're visiting Los Angeles you must see it!

  • Across for the Scientology Celebrity Center "Castle" in Hollywood. Its not about the food or drinks here its all about atmosphere and if you're a screen writer you will find other writers banging away on their over sized $7,000 Apple or Alienware laptops. the first time I went there I met the guy from Baton Rouge who wrote the 13th Floor. He was pretty miffed about only getting $150,000 for the screen rights to his book. The Matrix movies, some say, were a rip off of the 13th floor premise. Imagine my surprise meeting a guy from Baton Rouge my first day on the job at CBS. It seemed like these writers used the "Pig" as a pick up joint for starry eyed young women wanting to break in to Hollywood. Little do they know writers don't make casting decisions and get little respect from studios. They get bought out early on in the process for peanuts. If you go there talk to people casue the guy sitting next to you might have written one of your favoriet movies or TV shows.

  • The relaxed atmosphere made this an ideal stop to recharge. The coffee is strong and the light sandwiches are tasty. It is also nice that there are four electric outlets at each of the four seat tables in the front.

  • I always go here, bring people over to experience the little in between 'juwels', los angeles has so many of. The place is hot and famous now but it still vibrates a sort of groove that brings you back in India, but with a pooltable, little darkish, with second-hand kind of furniture. The staff is helpfull but a little snobby. So be it. Its my place!
