  • Decided to revisit 'The Pancake Parlour' after many years. Well, you certainly cannot complain about the service as it was non existent. After our order was taken we asked for water which was asked for a further 3 times. Eventually, I had to go to the bar and request it. The waitress came back with the jug of water and slammed it on the table. As far as the tabriz pancake went, let's just say things were certainly not as good as they were. It was OK, but nothing that would entice me back.

  • Food was over priced and tasted average at best. Seating was extremely cramped, tables were small and was not a good eating environment to be in. Will never go to a Pancake Parlour ever again after this visit.

  • This restaurant has been a favourite of mine for many years just at a different location. After being to Fountain Gate i will definately return with my kids not only is the food amazing but the locations great too. The pancakes are so awesome and the milkshakes are to die for.

  • I haven't been to this restaurant for a long time and was looking forward to it! We ordered from the special lunch menu, which took a long long time to arrive at our table. I was about to get up and ask the waitress where our food was, and she came to the table and apologised for the delay, and that it would be another 5 minutes. As we had a 3 year old with us, it seemed even longer! I was amazed at the cost of a small apple juice priced at $4.70!! AND it was small! I don't care whether it comes from Beechworth or not, it is a complete rip off and excessively overpriced! When it came to paying the bill I complained about the wait and they took 20% off our bill, as they agreed it was far too long to wait, and I suggested that 'The Pancake Parlour' need to look at the price of their apple juice (in particular), as it should be less than $3 for the small size, (I would call the small size, very small) and a complete rip off. This is a warning to other customers! I will not be going back there.
