  • 曼谷现在人气超旺的The Commons，绝对是数一数二的网红打卡圣地了，随时去都是人满为患的，想找个舒适的位置坐着喝杯咖啡估计都很困难，本地人都是开着豪车过来的。一般去这里都会奔着网红甜品店Roast和一楼的ROOTS，时间多的话可以在这里泡一整天，打发时间真的很棒。

    在去The Commons的大路对面无意间寻觅到了一家很赞的餐厅Mellow Restaurant & Bar，白天是餐厅，晚上这里就是Bar，两层楼，二楼只在晚上开放。我觉得这家晚上估计会更有魅力一些，白天看着像是为了不浪费场地而做成的餐厅，味道倒也还是挺OK的。点了好几个菜，趁着还没上菜的时候，和朋友又开始了相互摆拍的行程。

  • I took my wife and kids to Mellow Emquartier for Mothers Day, as we have gone many times to Mellow on Thong Lor and like their menu. We ordered a range of things - pizzas and pastas for the kids, a crabcake salad for wife and ribs for me. The waitress did warn that the ribs would take 20 minutes, which was fine. But in the end, it was 40, they came 20 minutes after everyone else's, and everyone was waiting for me to start, much less finish. The ribs were supposed to be medium - and perhaps one of the reasons they took so long, they were well done, not a hint of pink in them. The food was delicious as always, but it was clear the waitress had not been well trained, she was running her feet off, but going back and forth hands empty while used plates stacked up on tables. We will stick with the Thong Lor branch for now.

  • We went to the Emquartier branch of this restaurant for dinner and found the food quite good, and good value too. But the wine was expensive and inferior, so we asked if they had a BYO policy. We were told that there was a corkage charge of 200 baht, which we thought was fantastic. We immediately decided to make this one of our regular eateries. Imagine our dissappointment when on our next visit, having brought our own very good wine, we sat down to order and were told that, no, corkage was 700 baht. Their own inferior wine is overpriced, and they want to overprice my own wine as well! We walked out, never to return, insulted by the arrogance of wanting to charge so high an amount for corkage. My advise is that they should offer better wine for the prices they are charging if their corkage charge is to be so prohibitive.

  • Good and tasty homemade pasta and pizza. Staff is friendly but service is a bit slow. Sometimes, it is a bit noisy especially at lunch time. Mellow is a good value for dining.
