I went to the Assembly restaurant, next to the assembly. I normally don't write reviews but this restaurant was greatand thought it deserved a good review to spread the word! Wasn't very hungry so just ordered a salad and zucchini flowers. They'd run out of zucchini flowers and the alternative option I chose. To say sorry the manager organized a very very nice antipasto plate (prosciutto, goats cheese, dip etc) and olives free of charge. The food was amazing as was the glass of red wine and the ease at which the manager offered other food free of charge to prioritise customer service (rather than thinking about their bank balance) was impressive. In addition to being given food free of charge I must emphasize that the quality and taste of the food was top-level. Will definitely go back when I visit Sydney again!

Think this is the 3rd or 4th time I have eaten here and I can't get enough of the wood ovens pizzas. Just sensational. Recently licences with good wine list, homely and professional service and killer salted caramel ice cream. How could you go wrong? Attached to Assembly Bar. Well worth it

Had lunch here and all I can say is that the food was sensational and if that wasn't enough the restaurant itself is stylish and so relaxed in atmosphere. The staff were attentive but not overly so which was great. We ate from the $15 lunch menu - the tuna salad is truly amazing - fresh, tasty, beautifully presented and just a delight to eat. My husband and daughter tried pizzas and both were great. The coffee is a must try - really good. Overall I would highly recommend eating here. It will not disappoint.

My partner and I dined at Assembly restaurant (the sister to Assembly bar) a few weeks ago when in Sydney on holiday. the restaurant had only been opened a couple of weeks and as such they were still waiting for their liquor licence so we could BYO (perfect). As they were very new, the service wasn't flawless (to be expected) but they were so attentive and friendly, the tiny oversights were completely forgiven. Best of all, the food was amazing. I had the porcini risotto which was without doubt best risotto I've ever had. My partner had the linguine and said it was "to die for!" I saw the pizzas and wanted to stay an extra night so we could dine there again. Will definitely return when next in Sydney. A memorable night
