  • I've been eating at and ordering from Atami for years. The have really solid sushi and are pretty quick for delivery. My personal favorite preparations that they do are the Tri-Color Sushi and also individual pieces of baby yellowtail sushi which they do with jalapeno on top. The restaurant is small but cozy and the service is spot on. If you're in the neighborhood and looking for a quality Japanese meal I would encourage you to try Atami.

  • Every so often I have the extraordinary pleasure of finding a new restaurant that is surprisingly delicious AND inexpensive - in a Japanese restaurant it is almost unheard of. Over time I've learned a number of 'rules' about Japanese food - never order sushi if 'fusion' is in the name, never eat the more exotic fish in an inexpensive restaurant, and that at base 'cheap sushi' is best avoided. Atami Japanese Fusion broke all of these 'rules' - with an $11 sushi lunch special that just can't be beat.

  • My go to lunch spot in NY for my Sushi fix. Very reasonable prices for the city. Food is fresh and well prepared. The standout here is value. Good sushi and a very reasonable price. Not 5 star, but 4 star food for a 3 star price.
