  • Dining at Le Jardin is more of a cool experience than a yummy one. We were 6 people, celebrating a birthday. I was the only veggie at the table and I thought that my dishes were pretty good. The enthusiasm wasn't shared with my meat eating peers. a lot of jell-o covered meat. Nobody was happy with the food. But the place itself is a gem!

  • I was first impressed with the decor, which made me feel like I had walked into a Wong Kar Wai film, which is a good thing. It's a mix of original 1800's French cafe moldings and mirrors, and lavish 1970's Chinese decor. The food was good, classic, and plentiful (I took the entre/plat/dessert menu at 14 Euro). The kids ate well, and enjoyed the fish tank and the children's books in the waiting area. Most of all, the owner was friendly and genuine (her parents opened the place in 1975.) If you're looking to get away from touristy chain restaurants and mediocre cafes, give this spot a try!
