Left hotel early ro enjoy Monet on the outskirts of Paris. What a great find. My husband loved his breakfast and I thoroughly enjoyed my Croque Madam Sevice was efficient and friendly and it was a locals place

Very convenient for the Marmottan- Monet museum, opposite La Muette Metro station, this is a busy local café. Décor is traditional, and the clientele when we stopped for lunch seemed mostly local. Our waiter was rushed off his feet but still managed to be helpful and pleasant. We had onion soup gratinee, which was perfectly OK but not as good as others we've had (on a mission to sample as many as possible!). The onions even seemed as if they might have been dried. The bread, too, was sliced so had less substance than the usual baguette rounds supporting the cheese (though the cheese was good). This was a welcome stop between museums, and clearly popular with locals.

I must admit that the location of this cafe is directly opposite the La Muette metro. It is very convenient. We happened to walk into this cafe as we were hungry & it was on the way to our B&B. As we entered the cafe with our luggages, the old men who were working in the cafe didn't really bothered with us. We just entered and sat where ever we wanted and the man who came to serve us wasn't happy to serve us nor to recommend anything to us. Because we were hungry and the rain, we had no choice but to swallow whatever service that this man is offering. We quickly look at the menu and ordered our food (attached are the pix of our food & the receipt). One of the sandwiches which we ordered sucked and basically the food sucks in this place. However, I must say the cappuccino is not bad. If I have a choice, I won't dine here at all. I DO NOT recommend this place to Asians unless you speaking French.
