Local bar & cafe is always welcoming, whether you are having a quick coffee, drink, meal or just passing by the place. Solo, couples or groups are all accommodated. The owner clearly enjoys his customers and goes the extra step to make sure everyone is looked after well! Funny and friendly, you love to return. Often offering varied live music or entertainment in the evenings, each visit is fun and there is always a good atmosphere.

Have been a frequent customer lately. Good couscous, excellent cote de boeuf, good selection of wine and Belgium beer!!!! What else do you need from a restaurant? If this is not enough for you, they often do live music and the staff is super nice. Highly recommended, especially if you want something local, away from crowds of tourists.

We chose this Groupon from Australia in anticipation of eating out in Paris without breaking the bank - and we were not disappointed. Despite what some earlier reviews have said, there is a a reasonable serving of food for the price. I had the pate entree with a berry coulis - not sure what the macaroon concept was about, however the pate was creamy and fresh and my one slice of toast was enough to carry the day. My husband had the beef carpaccio which he reported as tasty (not my idea of a meal dear readers) but he is a carnivore extraodinaire. We both had the duck skewers as a mains. Earlier reviewers are unkind when suggesting "it's not enough" - duck breasts are notoriously small and to have two of reasonable size threaded on skewers which were well cooked and tasty, given the Groupon deal - we a fair deal. The desserts were excellent. Yes there was only one guy serving and he was doing his level best to be polite and efficient. We have to say that after visiting Paris almost every year for the last 20 years, the service in most places has gone done. Slow service, indifferent attention, very few staff... it's certainly changed.
