Ok food but overpriced for a cafe. Paid EUR 11 for a draft beer, which was a new max for me. Ceasar salad was good though. Omelette was also ok

Late lunch here on our first day back in Paris, friendly waitress who listened to my wife's culinary needs and got the kitchen to comply. My calamari was excellent and my wife's Durade nicely done. It is right at taxi stand so you get to see the never ending arrivals of taxis.

My husband and I randomly selected the Le Pre as we walked by and we were happy we did. The ambiance was modern French cafe where we were encouraged to sit and stay awhile. We both had the burger and it was delicious! The cafe creme and hot chocolate was a great end to a relaxing midday meal. We would recommend stopping in for lunch, a snack, or a beverage!

Having spent the morning at the Rodin Museum, we decided to return to our hotel area for lunch. As we popped out of the Metro we saw this lovely cafe bathed in sunshine and bustling with visitors. We had a really friendly welcome. The menu is simple but with really tasty food - we had the charcuterie sharing platter. Great selection of beer, wine and cocktails. As a former resident of Scotland, to see a massive bottle of Hendricks gin alongside my all time favourite Single malt Bruichladdich suggests an appreciation of the finer tastes of life, whatever the origin. Their T-shirts say "eat, drink and stay awhile". We did, and thoroughly enjoyed it.
