  • My wife and I had a breakfast here. We rented an apartment on Isle St Louis, and this was a convenient place to eat before getting on the Metro. I honestly can't remember what I ordered. I had eggs and something else. My wife had the coffee and croissant. What sticks in my mind about this restaurant is the friendliness of the waitstaff. It's not that we had bad service anywhere else, it was more about warmth that was exuded by our waitress. There were locals nearby, but we were never meant to feel excluded. It was a quality I can't quite put my finger on. Kind of like being a "Cheers" patron. Not the star of the show, but welcomed as if we were part of the family. If you're in the area, visit Le Rivolux. You won't be disappointed.
